PechaKucha Night began in Tokyo as a platform for sharing design projects, using a format of 20 slides shown for 20 seconds each. These sessions quickly became cultural events, spreading worldwide. Today, more than 50,000 people share their stories in over a thousand events across dozens of countries. I designed the look and feel for the very first PechaKucha Night held in Quito, Ecuador.
