Bocavaldivia is a foundation dedicated to protecting and restoring devastated land in Ecuador. Despite its small size, the organization has ambitious goals, and our challenge was to create a brand system that reflects these aspirations while demonstrating that non-profits can have exceptional design. Beyond the visual identity, I contributed to defining the tone of voice and copywriting guidelines, as well as prototyping products, packaging, and other conceptual applications.
This project provided the opportunity to develop a comprehensive brand system, including visualizations that capture the complexity of the territory. The region is one of the world’s 36 biodiversity hotspots, facing significant threats from climate change and aggressive local agriculture and development. The brand system aims to communicate the urgency of conservation while inspiring engagement and action.
